It’s the first major sales event of the summer — Memorial Day 2026 — falls on the last Monday in May, which this year, is Monday the 25th. Memorial Day honors military personnel who lost their lives serving in the U.S. armed forces, but the national holiday has also spawned a large sales period for the holiday weekend.
