Das Bundeskabinett hat am 15. Juli 2026 den Entwurf eines Gesetzes für Daten und digitale Innovation im Gesundheitswesen (GeDIG) beschlossen. Ziel des Gesetzes ist es, die Möglichkeiten der Digitalisierung für Versicherte und Leistungserbringer stärker in die Versorgung zu bringen und die Möglichkeiten zur Nutzung von Gesundheitsdaten für Forschung, Innovation und Versorgung weiter zu verbessern.
