The Polish government is celebrating the launch of the „Kap Pomerania“ container terminal as a „century investment“ on the Baltic Sea. However, this major project near the German-Polish border is causing significant concern among local residents on the island of Usedom and within the city politics there. They feel completely overlooked and bypassed in the decision-making process for this substantial development in their immediate vicinity.
